Look what my mom passed along to me:
My very first sewing machine! So far all I've done is sew some scraps of fabric together but I'm super excited to begin my first project. I haven't decided what to do first since I'm a beginner. It looks like a pillow might be the best choice. Maybe I'll make a nice big one for Fifi!
Then when I get the hang of the sewing machine, I can make her a jacket or a cape:
Then, why not a little shopping cart cover for when we go on trips to PetSmart:
And she OBVIOUSLY needs a poncho & sombrero for Cinco de Mayo celebrations!
The possibilities are ENDLESS!
Ok, so I'm obviously not going to create a wardrobe for Fifi b/c that would make me a crazy dog lady but I'm definitely going to start with a pillow. And then maybe I'll make myself an apron, lol.
