Every beginning of the year, my family gets together to come up with New Years Resolutions. We all write them down and my dad seals them in an envelope. We open the envelope during lunch on January 1st and discuss what we have accomplished. We've been doing this for as long as I can remember and my dad has a box filled with past envelopes. It's definitely a tradition I will continue when Sergio & I start our own family!
Anywho, here are a few resolutions added to my list this year:
- Work on a few home projects like:
* organizing the basement
* beautifying my laundry area
* setting up a mudroom in the breezeway
- Read 50 books & participate in book challenges.
- Learn something new, preferably how to sew & finish a project.
- Participate in some type of volunteer work.
- Visit Natalia & Jon in California (b/c I'm going to miss them, lots *tear*)
There were a couple more and I'm sure when we open the envelope on January 1, 2012, I will have plenty to check off my list!
